yasu is the leader as well as one of the founders of Janne Da Arc. Voice lessons at a young age stimulated his love for music and boosted his desire to form his own band. Besides rock, yasu has an appreciation for pop music, as well as traditional Japanese music. He also enjoys anime, manga, video games, panchinko and smoking, although it is suspected that he has, or has tried to, quit. He does not sleep very well, only getting 5-6 hours of rest at night. yasu deeply admires and respects [[HYDE|hyde]], vocalist of the Japanese rock band [[L'Arc~en~Ciel]].

Shuji was the last member to join Janne Da Arc. Shuji's perferred style of rock metal and heavy metal, a taste that he developed at a young age. Even today, he continues to be a fan of [[X-Japan]]. Kiyo is the shiest member of Janne Da Arc. Kiyo's skills on the keyboard are rarely found in Japanese rock bands, and therefore his presence adds an extra dimension to the group. He is very talented, sometimes appearing in shows surrounded by five different keyboards.

Ka-yu is one of the more extroverted members of Janne Da Arc. Although he is one of the original founders of the band, Ka-yu left the group for three years for unknown reasons before returning in 1992. He has several tattoos, earings and piercings on his body.
