"Mizérable" is the first single released by Gackt. The title song is from the mini-album Mizérable, released one month prior. This was first released as a single box containing a VHS of the title song's PV and making of. Nine days later a 8cm single was released, containing no VHS. The single box reached #3 on the Oricon chart, and charts for nine weeks, selling 116,771 copies. The 8cm single reached #72 on the Oricon chart and charted for six weeks, selling 15,840 copies.
