Teen Top (틴 탑) is a 6 member Korean pop boy group that debuted in 2010 under T.O.P. media.

The group's first appearance was on the MTV program The Vice Guide to Everything in December 2010.

Teen Top members Ricky and Niel were both child actors. Niel debuted through the musical “Please“, and played the younger role of actor Joo Won in the musical. Ricky debuted through the music video for Seo Taiji’s “Human Dream“, and played the younger role of Song Seung Hun in “Love Song” as well.

Debut 2010

Teen Top made their official debut in July, with their title track, Clap. The music video for Clap featured Lizzy from After School. Their debut single album, Come Into the World, was released on July 9, 2010. The group's debut officially began on July 10, 2010, first performing on MBC's Show! Music Core and then later on SBS's Inkigayo. Upon their debut, Teen Top received praises for their live performances and impressed the audience for their live vocal abilities. Teen Top’s vocals have been labeled ‘CD Live’. Netizens also gave Teen Top the nickname 'Choreography Knife', because of the group's knife-like action and being perfectly in sync when performing their dance routines.

2011: "Supa Luv" , "No More Perfume On You" and "Roman"

On January 13, 2011, Teen Top made their first comeback on M!Countdown with their 2nd single, "Supa Luv", which was produced by Shin Hyuk, the co-producer of Justin Bieber's hit single, 'One Less Lonely Girl. While the lyrics were rewritten and translated by renowned South Korean singer and song-writer, Wheesung. The original song had been written and sung by American R&B singer and song-writer Redd Stylez. On March 2, 2011, Teen Top released an MV for the A-Rex remixed version of "Supa Luv" featuring scenes from the new 2011 American film, Beastly. On July 11, 2011, after celebrating Teen Top's first anniversary, T.O.P. Media announced on Teen Top's official site that a new mini album is set to be released on the 26th of July 2011. This will be Teen Top's first mini album. On July 21, 2011, T.O.P. Media released the first teaser for Teen Top's comeback single, "No More Perfume On You", through various video sites including YouTube and Daum. The second teaser was released on the 22nd through YouTube. Their first mini album 'Roman' is expected to be released on the 27th through market sales, while audio streaming and downloading will be released on the 26th. After the release of their first mini-album, “Roman”, Teen Top set out to conquer the stage with their second comeback. Known for their powerful choreography for “Clap” and “Supa Luv“, Teen Top made their return amidst the anticipation of many in the industry for living up to their potential. Their title track, “No More Perfume On You“, was produced by composer Bang Shi Hyuk, and features a combination of modern melodies and trendy beats.

2012:"It’s" and "Going Crazy"

On January 4, 2012, Teen Top released their second mini album, "It's". Comprising six tracks, the album was produced by Brave Brothers, who took part in not only the production, but the writing, composition, and mixing processes as well to ensure its high quality. After the release of their second mini-album, Teen Top revealed the music video for their comeback, "Going Crazy" on January 5, 2012. The music video mixes fluid choreography sequences with a story of a frustrating love featuring 4Minute's Sohyun. On February 3, 2012, Teen Top won their very first award on KBS Music Bank since debut on July 10, 2010 with Clap. They received the honor of performing the ending stage on MBC Show! Music Core, followed by a win on SBS Inkigayo. With the average age of 17.6, they are the youngest idol group to have won awards on the aforementioned music shows. It was announced that Teen Top along with Brian,G.NA, and APink are invited to perform at the Canadian Music Festival in Toronto, Canada on March 21, 2012. News about the event has been confirmed through the Canadian Music Festival's official page and was announced as a stage segment titled "K-Pop Wave X Seoulsonic."
