THE MUSEUM III is the third best album released by Mizuki Nana. It was released in two versions: a CD+Blu-ray edition and a CD+DVD edition. Both the first press editions came with a photobook. The song "HOT BLOOD" was used as the first ending theme for the anime series Basilisk ~Ouka Ninpouchou~, and "Suiren" was used as the series second ending theme. "Suiren" was also used as a lead-in track for the album, with the music video appearing on the video portion. "Egao wa Kimi no Tame ni Aru" was used as image song for Ehime Meeting Love face (Egao) Ehime national body.
