"Tsubasa wo Hirogete / Ai wa Kurayami no Naka de" is ZARD's 44th single. "Tsubasa wo Hirogete" is a self-cover, originally written for DEEN. It was used as the theme song for Meitantei Conan's 12th movie Senritsu no Full Score. Meanwhile, "Ai wa Kurayami no Naka de" is originally the b-side for ZARD's debut single, "Good-bye My Loneliness". It was used as the 22nd opening theme for the Meitantei Conan anime series. This single reached #3 on the weekly Oricon charts, charted for 12 weeks and sold a total of 83,694 copies, becoming the #90 single of 2008.
