Fuyu no Hai nu Mikaze is the first DVD released by Hajime Chitose. It was relased on the same day as the album counterpart Fuyu no Hai nu Mikaze. The first part of the DVD is the "Music Film" component; which sets Hajime's live vocals with images of her island home and stage footage. The second part of the DVD is the "Live Film" component; a collection of her best live performances from Hajime's concert recorded on December 8th, 2003 in her home island Amami Ooshima. Some of the vocals on the second part of the DVD are the same as the vocals on the first part of the DVD, but are strictly set to live stage footage.
Many of the songs have new arrangements. Some examples are: "Kotonoha" has an extended vocal introduction and "Seirei" is sung accompanied with only a simple drum beat. Hajime also plays the shamisen for part of the "Itsuka Kaze ni Naru Hi" performance. The DVD reached #28 on the Oricon charts, where it charted for five weeks. This was re-released on UMD format a little more than a year later. This releases' "Music Film" tracklisting is a bit different, while the "Live Film" tracklisting is the same.
