"Tears Infection" is the third solo single released by KAORI.. The title track was used as the opening theme for the anime version of Myself ; Yourself while "Day-break" was used as the opening theme for the game. The single was her first to be released in more than one version, the limited edition came with a DVD including the music video for the title track.
The single reached #33 on the Oricon charts, and charted for eight weeks becoming KAORI.'s best charting and selling single.
