ayaka's BEST -Ballad Collection- is the second best album released by ayaka. It was released in two versions: a limited low-priced edition and a regular edition. The DVD includes a music video of "Mikazuki", her live performance singing five songs at Warner Music Convention Live in 2005 and rare footage in 2008. The album was released by Warner Music Japan two years after she left the label. The best album is certified Gold for shipment of 100,000 copies. The album reached #7 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for 17 weeks.
