Seventeen Club was formed in 1984 after Kudo, Kiyohara, and Shibata won the Miss Seventeen Contest. They released their debut single, "[[Su Ki Futari Tomo]"]. After the second single, Kudo Shizuka left the group and Seventeen Club remained as a two member group for a year before the group finally broke up.
