"WHY" is the fourth Japanese single released by 4minute. The title track was used as theme song for the dorama Akuto ~Juuhanzai Sousa Han. The single was released in three editions, two limited CD+DVD editions and a regular edition. CD+DVD A edition includes the Korean songs "Taeyeonhage Dangyeonhage" and "Anjullae", previously released in Korea on their second and debut mini-album respectively. CD+DVD B edition includes Hyun A's Korean solo debut song, "Change", and a remix of the group's Korean debut digital single.
