Seventeen Club (1985)

Seventeen Club (セブンティーンクラブ) was a three member Idol group in 1985.

Information

Seventeen Club was formed in 1984 after Kudo, Kiyohara, and Shibata won the Miss Seventeen Contest. They released their debut single, "[[Su Ki Futari Tomo]"]. After the second single, Kudo Shizuka left the group and Seventeen Club remained as a two member group for a year before the group finally broke up.

Kudo Shizuka went on to join the super idol group Onyanko Club and had a successful solo career. Kiyohara Aki went onto another group called BCG and then became a model. Meanwhile, Kuniko Shibata went on to a short-lived solo career in the early 90s.
