Information
I WiSH was formed in 2002, but later dissolved in 2005 because they wanted to pursue solo careers. Their most notable single is Asu e no Tobira. It sold more than 752,207 copies and got the sixth place in the yearly Oricon charts in 2003. The name is derived from the combination of both names together. This is the scheme that they used to get the name: kawashimaai sugawaranaohiro → awshi → wish.
