AKB48 Team SH 5th EP Senbatsu Election is an event that determined the selected members for AKB48 Team SH's 5th mini-album. It is their first annual General Election, during which fans vote for the top members who will participate in the upcoming mini-album.
Contents
Information
Members would apply for candidacy in order to take part in the election. Members of the following categories were eligible for candidacy:
- Current members of AKB48 Team SH.
Participating Members
A total of 40 members participated in the election.
AKB48 Team SH
- Team SH (16 Members)
- Trainees (24 Members)
- 1st Gen: Xu Yiting, Zhou Niangqi
- 2nd Gen: Cheng Anzi, Jian Qiangwei, Kong Kexin, Li Yumiao, Liang Shian, Pan Qiuyi, Tan Junxi, Wu Yiting, Zhang Qianfei, Zhang Qiaoyu, Zhang Yinglu, Zou Ruonan
- 3rd Gen: Chen Zhangyuan, Li Jiahui, Ma Xiaoyu, Peng Luxuan, Qiu Dier, Wang Anni, Wang Xuanya, Xie Wenjie, Zhang Jiazhe, Zhou Chenyuxuan
- Note: Although originally a participant, Chen Zhangyuan was removed from the group during the election.
Not Participating
A total of 8 members declined to participate in the election. Members with a star (★) will not participate due to a graduation from their groups. This includes members who would have graduated before the election, as well as members who announced their graduations as the reason for not participating. Members with a star (☆) announced their graduations after the election passed.

Voting Methods
There is one official method for voting. The voting period lasted from September 27, 2020 to November 27, 2020.
