iri is a singer-songwriter born in Zushi, Kanagawa Prefecture, in 1994. She learned how to play guitar and singing by herself while she was still in the university. iri released her debut album, [[Groove it]], on October 26, 2016, on Victor Entertainment. The album mixes influences of R&B, PBR&B, hip hop and experimental electronica music.
