Materia is Atari Kousuke's debut mini-album released by the indie label Day! Records. While the music is undeniably 'pop', Atari's vocals are still in shima-uta style. The disc and booklet come housed in a soft cardboard LP style sleeve. It sold over 7000 copies, and reached #5 on the indie release charts. "HERO" is a cover of a Mariah Carey song, and "HOME" is a cover of a Yamazaki Masayoshi song.
