MISSION was a Japanese pop idol group from 1998 to 1999 under the label avex. The group released their first single, "Suhada no Kisetsu", on July 1998 and released 3 other singles. The group broke up in 1999 after Hashimoto was removed from the group and appearance on such shows like Pop Jam were canceled. But, the real reason why they broke up was never explained and each member persued their own solo career afterwards.
