YB (2011)

YB or Yoon Do Hyun Band (윤도현밴드) is a Korean rock group lead by Yoon Do Hyun.

Members

Information

The group first formed in 1994. Because the group uses traditional instruments such as the gayageum (a Korean musical instrument with 12 strings) and the daegeum (Korean traditional wooden flute) for recording, in addition to the more mundane rock instruments many audience members feel that they are the most uniquely Korean-styled rock group.

The band sang songs like "Oh, Pilseung Korea (Oh, Victory to Korea)" and "Arirang" during the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup games.
