iri is a singer-songwriter born in Zushi, Kanagawa Prefecture, in 1994. She learned how to play guitar and singing by herself while she was still in the university. iri released her debut album, Groove it, on October 26, 2016, on Victor Entertainment. The album mixes influences of R&B, PBR&B, hip hop and experimental electronica music.
