Mizutani Mari (水谷麻里) is a former Japanese pop idol singer. Mizutani got her start while in middle school in 1985 when she entered the '86 Miss Hair Cologne Image Girl Contest, sponsored by Shiseido. Even though she was defeated by Sakai Noriko for the grand prix award, Mizutani was awarded the BOMB award. She debuted soon after as a singer with the single 21 Seiki Made Aishite a year later.
