After Z-1 broke up, Nejiki would go onto start her own solo career under the label Tokuma Japan Communications and debuted her first single, Kitaguni Ikide ~Missing Way~, a cover of a famous hit by Shuri Eiko. But after her third single, Nejiki decided to leave Tokuma Japan and go independent.
