GEARS was a Japanese pop band from 1993 to 1995. The band formed in 1993 after Kumakura wanted an Fabian band and convinced Mitsuhashi to join his group after hearing his voice. They released their first single, "Kuchibiru", in 1993 under the label B-Gram RECORDS. Before the release of their second single, the band switched labels to Nippon Columbia. Sadly, the band broke up in March 1995.
