Information

KATZE got started in 1986 in Shimonoseki City in Yamaguchi Prefecture. During their first couple years, the band was basically a copy band as they played other bands' music who were famous at the time. In 1988, the band released their first single, "TEEN", under Teichiku. The song was supposed to be used in a soft drink commercial but it didn't due to band members disagreeing on the issue.

In 1991, KATZE broke up after performing their final performance at Nakano Sun Plaza.
