KING was a Japanese pop female group. The group was also called COSMIC ANGELS and Chicchai Z (ちっちゃいZ). The grouped started in 2000 with AYAKA, AYANO, MARIYA, and MARI II. But at the end of the year, MARI II quit the group and SAYA would soon take over her vacant spot. On March 2002, the group changed their name to King and incorpated hip hop in their future music release. They finally debuted as singers on January 2003 with the single "WE ARE THE KING". But, the group split up a year later after their album DEAR MY FRIENDS -History of the KING-.
