Vanilla Beans
Vanilla Beans is a Japanese pop female duo under T-Palette Records. The group formed in 2007 under the indies label FLOWER LABEL, a sub-label of Tokuma Japan Communications, and describes themselves as a "next generation" idol unit.
Vanilla Beans has had the same line-up since March of 2008, when Rika (now also a former member of Idoling!!!) left and Risa joined with the original member Rena. In 2011 they joined the newly-formed idol label T-Palette Records, to which they and Negicco were the first artists signed.
They debuted in 2007 as an indie duo with the single "U ♡ Me", The single reached #189 on the Oricon charts. But it wasn't until their sixth single "Toki no Kakera" (under their new label) when they got noticed.
Since Vanilla Bean's debut, they have released 9 singles, 7 digital singles, 3 albums, a best album, a mini-album and 2 video releases. Their thirteenth ninth single "Muscats Slope Love" was released May 8th, 2013.
