Tamura Eriko (田村英里子) is a Japanese actress and singer.

Information
When Tamura was eight years old, she moved to Dusseldorf, Germany because of her father's job. But when she came back from Japan at age 14, she would audition and win the grand prix for the All Japan Song Selection You're The Star contest. She would soon release her first single, Locomotion Dream, in 1989 under the label Sun Music. The marketing for the single and Tamura was unique at the time. Before her first single release, The idol Eriko on the anime Idol Densetsu Eriko was based on Tamura and appeared weeks before Tamurs's real debut.
By her third single, Tamura would move to the label Toshiba EMI and also win the award for Rookie of the Year. She would later appear in doramas and movies including being the lead star in the 1996 television dorama Hideyoshi.
In 2000, Tamura dreamed about making it in Hollywood and went overseas to Los Angeles to study abroad. Seven years later, her dream came true when she landed the role of Yaeko in the NBC television show Heroes, She would also appear in American film including the 2009 film Dragonball Evolution as Piccolo's servant Mai.
