Information

In 1985, Yamase Mami won the 10th annual Horipro Talent Scout Caravan audition. She debuted as a singer on March 1986 with the single "Melon no Tameiki". She was called by many as a "variety idol" because she appeared on much variety shows and doramas. Also, Yamase had a store, named Mami's Family, in Harajuku due to her extreme popularity.
