Cosmic Girls (우주소녀; Wu Ju So Nyeo or WJSN) (宇宙少女; Uchuu Shoujo in Japanese or Yǔzhòu Shàonǚ in Chinese) is a 12-member Korean pop girl group created by Starship Entertainment and Yuehua Entertainment that consists of both Korean and Chinese members. CEO Kim came up with both Girls' Generation's name and Cosmic Girls' resulting in their similar sound.
