BAAD was a Japanese Rock band from 1992 to 1999. They debuted on February 1993 with the single Donna Toki Demo Hold Me Tight and quickly rose to the top. Their biggest hit came months later with the single Kimi ga Suki da to Sakebitai. In 1995, Yamada would quit the band and Hata would replace him on lead vocals. Also that year, the band switched labels from ZAIN Records to Nippon Columbia. Four years later, the band disbanded in 1999 due to unknown reasons.
