(miss)understood is Ayumi Hamasaki's 7th full-length studio album, released on New Year's Day 2006 (although many retail stores broke street date by releasing the day after Christmas 2005).

This album features tracks written by GEO of pop group Sweetbox. Their album, "Addicted", was released later and featured the original english versions of most of his contributions to "(miss)understood."

Like most of her albums near this time, it was released in both a CD-Only and CD+DVD version. The limited editions of both versions included a photobook. The book "on my way" came with the CD+DVD version; "off my day" came with the CD-only version.
