Folder5 promoting GO AHEAD!! (2001)

Folder5 was a five girl J-Pop group on the avex trax label. They were a spin-off from the original group, Folder. Folder5 had the same members, except they are lacking the two male members from Folder; DAICHI and JOE.

All of the girls of Folder5 were very young. Rather than performing the retro-style songs that Folder often did, Folder5 usually stuck to a Euro dance style in their songs.

The group is no more and Akina and ARISA have moved on to a solo career. A Folder + Folder 5 singles collection and complete boxset was released in 2003.
