Gawon (가원) is a Korean artist under THEBLACKLABEL. She is a member of the Korean pop girl group MEOVV.

She was born in Ohio and lived in Edgewater, New Jersey in the United States, eventually moving to South Korea in the early years of elementary school.
She went to an international school in Korea and is fluent in both Korean and English.
She trained at YG Entertainment for about a year starting in her second year of middle school in 2019 and roomed with NewJeans' Danielle.
She became a trainee at THEBLACKLABEL in her third year of middle school. During that time, she lived with KISS OF LIFE's Julie and H1-KEY's Hwiseo.
She worked as a child model in Korea when she was young.
