LOVE COOK, Otsuka Ai's third album, was released over a year after her 2nd album. It was released in four editions, two of which were limited editions that came with a picture book and a photobook respectively. The DVD included two extra promotion videos, one for the highly popular "Cherish," which was included in the tribute album "LOVE for NANA ~Only 1 Tribute~," and the other for Biidama, featured in the double A-side single SMILY/Biidama.
Like her previous albums, all the songs are written, composed, and co-arranged by Ai. She also produces this album, making it her 2nd self-produced album release.
Ai revealed on the music show, MUSIC FIGHTER, that the 'COOK' on the title is connected to her birthdate, September 9th.
