Daybreak is Hamasaki Ayumi's 25th single, and one of the few singles to be based entirely on a remix of a previously released song. The title track is Daybreak "H/\L's Mix 2002" and not Daybreak, which previously appeared on her album I am... released two months before. The single is limited to 300,000 copies. Daybreak "H/\L's Mix 2002" was used in Panasonic's commercial for its popular LUMIX camera.
