Hyper Techno Mix Revolution III ~TRANCE vs HARD CORE TECHNO~ is move's fifth remix album. It is the final release in a set of three compilations intended as "value" purchases for fans of move. This release is the only one, out of the three, that is a double CD set, which is structured such that the tracklists on each CD parallel each other that presents the same songs remixed in two different styles. The album contains a couple of tracks which are repeats form the first two releases in the series, Hyper Techno Mix Revolution I and Hyper Techno Mix Revolution II. But, most tracks are new and are remixed versions of songs off their first three albums; electrock, worlds of the mind, and Operation Overload 7. First pressing of the album also came with the album cover printed on the jewel case itself, giving it a 3-D effect. The album reached #9 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for four weeks.
