Information

Uehara Mikiko got into the world of show business due to be scouted by an agent in her hometown. She debuted in 1989 with the single Koibitotachi no Nagai Yoru under the Warner Music Japan label under the name Hoshino Yuki. In 1993, she changed her name back to her real name Ueno Mariko and started to star in movies, doramas, and photobooks. In 2000, she changed her name once again to Uehara Makiko.
