Born on the December 17, 1984 in Kyoto, Japan, she sent out her first demo tape, catching the attention of Avex and her current management agency. She moved to Tokyo in February, and three months later TBS offered her the chance to sing for “Koizora," TBS's highly anticipated drama series in 2008. The song is a ballad titled, Ai no Uta.
The single, Ai no Uta, was released on August 20, 2008 and peaked at number #16 on the Oricon charts, charting for 14 weeks, selling 26,804 copies.
