VAMPIRE SAGA is the third major and sixth overall album released by D. This was released in two different versions: a CD+DVD edition that comes with a DVD of the PV for the album's main promotional track "Der König der Dunkelheit" and a CD only edition that comes with the bonus track "Silver acorn bullet". The album was originally proposed to be released in three versions, the third was a 2CD edition. It would have contained a second CD that's a six track C/W best of, and would include two tracks from each of their singles "Tightrope", "Snow White", and "Akaki Hitsuji ni Yoru Bansankai". Though it had a finalized tracklist and jackt cover design, it was cancelled.
