Hara Mayumi (原真祐美) is a former Japanese model, actress, and Japanese pop singer. Hara got her started when she was scouted in her hometown of Sapporo as a model in commercials. At the same time, she entered and represented Hokkaido in the 1981 Hori Pro Scout Caravan but lost to Hori Chiemi. But she made her singing two years after the contest with the first single "Kesshin" under the label Nippon Columbia. During her idol singing career, Hara's trademark was her wearing an hat. By the end of the year, she was nominated and won for Rookie of the Year Award at the FNS Music Festival with the single "Bye, Bye September". She also won various Rookie of Year Awards at award ceremonies like You Choose All-Japan Song Music Festival and Shinjuku Music Festival.

In 1984, she would make her acting debut in the dorama Tenten Musume. A year later, she would release her first nude photobook, entitled Aya Dori. After that, she would retire from world of show business.
