Cherie is a pop-rock musician currently under the Universal Music Japan. She made her debut in 2006 as Uura Saeka under the GIZA studio label.

Information

Saeka has been influenced by music since she was a child because of her parents. She aspired to be a musician after seeing a live DVD of Kondo Fusanosuke's at the age of 16. Before her musical debut however, she worked as a model for Seventeen Japan and also had small acting parts.

Since 2006 Saeka has been performing on GIZA's THURSDAY LIVE, airing weekly.

Trivia

• Her nickname is Urin, and she has a mascot named Uribou. This was distributed on her mobile site and through GIZA MUSIC NET until the end of January 2007.
