Tomadoi / SPECIAL THANKS is GLAY's 20th single. Tomadoi was used as the theme song for the dorama Mirai Nikki "Summer Days" episode and TBS' program "Unnan no Hontoko". SPECIAL THANKS was used as Mirai Nikki's film theme song. Both the first press and the regular editions were released in two versions, a Tomadoi / SPECIAL THANKS version and a SPECIAL THANKS / Tomadoi version with different tracklist order. It reached #1 on the Oricon charts and charted for nine weeks. It sold 1,009,010 copies, becoming the #13 single of 2000.
