"Natsukashii Mirai ~longing future~" is the third Japanese single released by alan. This was released in two different versions: a CD+DVD edition and a CD only edition. This also marks the first in five consecutive monthy singles respresting the five elements of Godai or Tibetan Bön. This entry is representing the element of Earth. The title song was being used as NHK's Eco Project "Chikyuu Eco SAVE THE EARTH 2008". The choir version of the A-side, track #3, was sung by the Suginami Children's Choir and not by alan herself. This release is a carbon offset product.
