Taiyou no Ataru Basho is V6's 14th single. Taiyou no Ataru Basho was used as the theme song for the dorama Shin Oretachi no Tabi Ver.1999. It was released in two versions: a limited edition housed in a maxi jewel case with a 8cm picture-labeled disc and a regular edition. This single reached #3 on the Oricon charts and charted for 11 weeks. It sold 327,950 copies, becoming the #66 single of 1999.
