Ozawa Maria is half-Japanese and half French-Canadian, which gives her a look that Japanese describe as "exotic", and attract fans from different countries around the world.
Maria started her career as Miyabi for the site shirouto-teien.com in June 2005, and was subsequently signed by S1, one of the largest AV makers in Japan. She made her debut as Ozawa Maria in October, 2005. Afterwards, S1 had released a video that featured Maria once per month until February 2007. She has also been a gravure model, and her works include calendar, telephone cards, photobooks and non-sex videos.
In early 2007, Maria's contract with S1 expired. Along with her close friend Aoki Rin, Suzuka Rin and Matsushima Reina, she moved to a new and more hard-core AV maker, Dasdas (DAS).
