After School (애프터스쿨) is a Korean pop girl group, formed by Pledis Entertainment.

Information

After School trained for two years and was unveiled at the 2008 SBS Gayo Daejeon where they performed with Son Dam Bi. Son Dam Bi was speculated to have joined the group, however it was later confirmed that Dam Bi would not be a part of After School. Initially a 5 member girl group modeled after the Pussycat Dolls, After School released "Playgirlz" and "AH" digitally on January 15, 2009, then the teaser MV for "AH", the lead track for their debut single New School Girl, was released on January 16, 2009. The debut performance for "AH" and "Playgirlz" was performed at Music Core on January 17, 2009, then the MV for "AH" was released on the 19th.
