"Amagasa / Akireru Kurai Bokura wa Negaou" is TOKIO's 39th single, and their first under the [[J Storm]] label. "Amagasa" was written and composed by rock artist [[Shiina Ringo]] and arranged by her band, [[Tokyo Jihen]]. The song has a "swinging pop sound" and was used as the theme song for the [[Dorama|dorama]] [[Yasuko to Kenji]], starring TOKIO member [[Matsuoka Masahiro]]. The other a-side track, "Akireru Kurai Bokura wa Negao", is a ballad which serves as the ending theme to the drama [[Mentra G]]. The first b-side "Kachuu no Otoko" was similarly written (words and music) by Shiina Ringo, and again arranged by Tokyo Jihen. It was released in three versions: two limited CD+DVD editions and a regular CD only edition.
