DIABOLOS is the sixth album released by Gackt. It was first released on September 21st, 2005 as the standard edition. It comes in a regular CD jewel casing with a separate booklet all inside a slipcase. In 2006 along with MARS, Rebirth, MOON, and Crescent, as a part of the Gackt PREMIUM COLLECTION series, the album was re-released again. This edition features the remastered SACD (Super Audio CD) album, housed in a 31cm×31cm deka jacket, a B2-sized poster, and a 30cm×30cm sized booklet.
The first release of the album reached #4 on the Oricon chart, where it charted for nine weeks. While the deka jacket release reached #77 on the Oricon chart, where it charted for two weeks.
