First Message is ayaka's debut album. It was originally planned for release on September 6th, 2006, however the album was postponed so that the Mikazuki single would be able to be released. Originally this song was not planned for the album. This album also reached #1 on the World Charts. First Message has the highest selling first week on a debut album by a solo female artist since Nakashima Mika's album TRUE in 2002. As this album sold 711,299 copies in 2006, it became the #13 album of the year.
