Folder was a Japanese R&B group that came from the Okinawa Actors School. The group consisted of five girls and two boys and were all quite young when they made their debut on January 18, 1997. The lead singer of the group, Daichi, was dubbed "Japan's Smallest Soulman". The group's singles contained original songs but also covered songs by groups like The Jackson 5 with the songs "ABC" and "I Want You Back".

In 2000, a spin-off group called Folder5 debuted with the five female members of the group.
