Folder were an R&B group that came from the Okinawa actors school. They consisted of five girls and two boys and were all quite young when they made their debut on January 18th 1997.

Daichi was the featured singer of the group and was dubbed "Japan's smallest soulman". They had originals but also covered songs by groups like The Jackson 5 (ABC & I Want You Back).

In 2000, a spin-off group called Folder5 debuted with the same members, minus the two boys Daichi and Joe.
