Gekkouka is Janne Da Arc's 24th single, and was used as the opening theme to the anime Black Jack. It is currently listed as being their most sucessful single, reaching #2 on Oricon charts and charting for 25 weeks. The single was released in two formats (but with the same cover); a CD+DVD version as well as a CD only version. The single sold 321,977 units, becoming the #22 single of 2005.
